Registration for the 2019 Judges Education Seminars and Workshops to be held at the Heart of the Desert Classic, Phoenix, AZ, January 30, 31 & February 1, is now open. Seminars are open to prospective judges, exhibitors and breeders. The Workshops are open to prospective judges. Please feel free to share this flier on social media and to encourage other dog fanciers to register for this educational opportunity. The Heart of the Desert Classic is committed to promoting events that include children and youth in our events. In 2019, we will be hosting our third Pee Wee event for children age 5- to 9-years old.
AKC Dog Show Patch Program will be presented February 2nd and 3rd. This is a free educational program designed for all children to have fun while learning about purebred dogs and dog shows.
February 3d Banfield Pet Academy will present Responsible Pet Ownership for children 3-8. Flyer with further information may be downloaded.

Sahuaro State Kennel Club is an all breed dog club that hosts two American Kennel Club Shows each year. The Club also hosts matches, classes, seminars, and other dog related activities. Check this site often to see what the Club and it's members are up to. The goal of Sahuaro State Kennel Club is to serve the community, Breeders and exhibitors of AKC recognized canines. We strive to make our all-breed dog shows events that provide special attractions, contributing education, entertainment and enthusiasm for our marvelous companions. Are you interested in what we are trying to do? If so, why don’t you attend one of our regular meetings as our guest? If you are interested in the betterment of purebred dogs, the club needs you and you NEED the club! Our General meetings are held at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (Peterson Hall) 1212 E. Glendale Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. The meetings start with a forum at 7:30 pm. and go until 8:00 pm., and then the business meeting starts at 8:10 pm. Most meetings begin with a short dog-related program followed by a refreshment pause before our business meeting. Watch this Website for information on upcoming matches, shows and news!
